Brady Hubbell turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than three walks surrendered on Tuesday. He pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Broughton is 5-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 6-7 otherwise.

Hubbell's strong effort led Broughton over Enloe and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Capitals are a perfect 9-0 against the Eagles going back to May of 2021, a lead they'll look to extend.
