Chattanooga Prep scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 46-37 to the Tyner Academy Rams. While losing is never fun, the Sentinels can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee football rankings (they are ranked 131st, while the Rams are ranked 38th).

Chattanooga Prep didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Cedric Baulding led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself. He has been hot, having also posted seven or more total tackles the last six times he's played. Marquis Gardner got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Jamarion Dowdell continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Tyner Academy, rushing for 165 yards and a pair of TDs on only 14 carries, while also picking up 43 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Chattanooga Prep has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Tyner Academy, they pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Chattanooga Prep wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 44-0 loss against Battle Ground Academy on the 9th. As for Tyner Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 49-42 defeat against Nashville Christian on the 10th.
