The California Grizzlies scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They blew past Arroyo 84-36 at home. The victory was a breath of fresh air for California as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Jared Calderon was a one-man wrecking crew for California as he scored 22 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Calderon has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Sibesh Sankar, who scored 14 points.
California's victory bumped their record up to 12-14. As for Arroyo, they dropped their record down to 3-19 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
California does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Arroyo's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Lancers at 7:30 p.m. on February 7th. Hopefully Tennyson focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 last Thursday.
