The Williamstown Yellowjackets extended their postseason success on Saturday against the Greenbrier West Cavaliers. They blew past the Cavaliers, posting a 42-12 victory at home. Williamstown's victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Williamstown to victory, but perhaps none more so than Maxwell Molessa, who rushed for 171 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.5 yards per carry, and also threw for 96 yards and a touchdown while completing 88.9% of his passes. Molessa's longest rush was for an incredible 98 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Lynken Joy, who rushed for 161 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.5 yards per carry.
Williamstown pushed their record up to 14-0 with that win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 37.33 points. As for Greenbrier West, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-1.
Williamstown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Greenbrier West also has no future games currently scheduled.
