The Tensas Panthers lost against the Madison Jaguars back in November, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Tensas took a serious blow against Madison, falling 78-34. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Tensas in their matchups with Madison: they've now lost eight in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Madison to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dawson Brown, who scored 16 points. That's the first time this season that Brown scored 15 or more points. Amarrion White was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Tensas has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. As for Madison, their win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tensas will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on River Oaks at 4:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Madison won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Delta Charter at 6:00 p.m. on December 19th. Delta Charter is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
