After losing to Red Bank the last time they met, Upperman decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bees walked away with  a   7-4  victory over the Lions  on Friday.
 Chris Wirsing was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  struck out seven batters over  6.1 innings while giving up just two earned  (and two unearned) runs off   seven  hits. That's the most  strikeouts  he has posted since back in April. He was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-4 with two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Justin Fallon was  incredible,  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances with one  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI. That's the most  RBI  he has posted since back in March.  Evan Huddleston was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double.
 Upperman  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Red Bank struck out eight times.
Upperman has  been performing  well recently as they've  won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-12 record  this season. The  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Red Bank, their defeat dropped their record down to 24-18.
As of now, neither Upperman nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
