East Henderson extended their losing streak  to three  on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 4-18 in the process. They lost  15-0 to the Pisgah Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  21-0  back in March.
 East Henderson saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Malea Bailey, who  went a perfect 1-for-1 with one  stolen base and one  double.
As for Pisgah, their victory was  their sixth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 14-4. The  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games.
On Pisgah's side,  Sadie Messer looked comfortable as she  struck out eight batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits (and not a single walk). Messer has been consistent: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in five consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  Rylee Campbell and  Savannah Dickerson did most of the damage at the plate:  Campbell  went 1-for-2 with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  double, while  Dickerson  went a perfect 2-for-2 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and two  RBI. Those  two  stolen bases gave  Campbell a new career-high.  Mack Jones was another key player,  going 1-for-2 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Henderson will host Smoky Mountain  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Pisgah, they will welcome Enka  at 6:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average (the Bears 3, the Jets 1.4) so any  runs scored will be well earned.
