The Celeste Blue Devils will square off against the Cumby Trojans at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday. Celeste will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.
Celeste has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 22 points or more this season. They blew past Boles 54-32.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Celeste to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mya Mainord, who scored 13 points. Taylea West was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with 5 steals.
Cumby has not had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They had just enough and edged Miller Grove out 27-24.
Celeste's win lifted them to 9-0 while Boles' loss dropped them down to 6-4.
Everything came up roses for Celeste against Cumby when the teams last played on November 11th as the team secured a 56-27 victory. Will Celeste repeat their success, or does Cumby have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
