Chassell scored the most points they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 69-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of the L'Anse Purple Hornets. The loss leaves the Panthers without a win on the season.

Chassell's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for L'Anse, their victory ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-0.

Chassell will be home for the holidays to greet Hancock at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for L'Anse, they will head out to square off against Baraga at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. L'Anse has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 213 points over their last three contests.
