Tug Valley has gone a perfect 10-0 against Tolsia recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Panthers will take on the Rebels at 6:00 p.m. Tug Valley will be strutting in after a win while Tolsia will be coming in after a loss.
Tug Valley took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 7-2 victory over St. Joseph Central. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Irish recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Bailee Hall made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out ten batters over four innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
In other batting news, Paisley Bolyard was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Katie Hall was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Tolsia came up short against Mingo Central on Tuesday and fell 8-4. The Rebels haven't had much luck with the Miners recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.
Carly Johnson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, two doubles, and two RBI. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 1.1 stolen bases per game. Another player making a difference was Cloey Horn, who got on base in two of her three plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.
Tolsia's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Tug Valley, their record is now 11-6.
Everything went Tug Valley's way against Tolsia when the teams last played on April 7th, as Tug Valley made off with a 13-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
