Knappa won the last time they faced Toledo, and things went their way on Friday, too. Everything went Knappa's way against Toledo as the team secured a 70-28 victory. The success made it back-to-back wins for Knappa.
Toledo's defeat came about despite a quality game from sophomore Jaxon Rozewski, who passed for 296 yards and 3 touchdowns. Sophomore Donny Villanueva was in the mix, too, providing Toledo with 2 touchdowns.
The win bumped Knappa's record up to 2-0. The loss dropped Toledo back to even at 1-1.
Knappa will look to defend their home turf next week against Taft at 7:00 PM. As for Toledo, they will face off against Monroe.
