Basketball Recap: Warhill Skates Past Tabb with Ease

Warhill lost to Tabb back in January, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Warhill Lions claimed a resounding 58-18 win over the Tabb Tigers. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 27 points or more this season.

Leading Warhill to victory were D'Shela Walker and Bria McAdoo. Walker went 8-for-16 en route to 25 points in addition to six steals and five assists, while McAdoo went 10-for-13 on her way to 21 points and five steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which Walker has scored at least a third of Warhill's points. Taleah James was another key player, putting up seven points and five boards.

Warhill has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Tabb, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-9.

Looking ahead, Warhill will be playing at home against Phoebus at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Warhill is facing Phoebus at the right time seeing as Phoebus is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. Tabb does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
