The biggest upset of the week belonged to Tappan Zee, who took down 227th ranked Panas, 13-7.
The Dutchmen were the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from seventh to fourth in Section 1 A - 1. Tappan Zee beat the Panthers 13-7 earlier in the week.
Sleepy Hollow's dynamic duo of D Lopez and E Jimenez proved tough for Hendrick Hudson to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Lopez threw for 114 yards and three touchdowns and Jimenez had 55 yards receiving. D Infante helped Sleepy Hollow's passing attack out by catching three balls for 40 yards.
Tauras Phillips was the most productive running back in the league this week. In five carries, he ran for 92 yards as Beacon defeated the Sailors. Teammate Justin Espinal added to the ground attack by rushing for 48 yards.
On the ground, Lakeland's Jimmy Flaherty has rushed for 661 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Ryan Bonifati. The Lakeland star has 12 catches for 236 yards.
A big matchup in Section 1 A - 1 this week will be when the Hornets take on Sleepy Hollow. At the moment, Lakeland is in sixth, while Steve Borys' team is in second.
Harrison extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Pearl River, 42-7. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
