Softball Recap: Jones Extends Winning Streak to Three

Jones barely beat Edgewater the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Fightin' Tigers blew past the Eagles 21-5 on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Fightin' Tigers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Jones' record is now 3-8. As for Edgewater, their loss was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-13.

Coming up, Jones will face off against Evans at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Fightin' Tigers are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Edgewater, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 23-10 defeat against Legacy Charter on the 15th.
