The North Cobb Christian Eagles waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They enjoyed a cozy 66-50 victory over Drew Charter. Given North Cobb Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 141st, while Drew Charter is ranked 300th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Gabe Bolden was his usual excellent self, scoring 19 points along with seven assists and five rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 16 or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Brock Bass bonner, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds.
North Cobb Christian is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. As for Drew Charter, they now have a losing record at 11-12.
