Durango dropped out of the state's top 25 rankings. Durango fell from No. 20 to No. 26 after going 0-1 over the past week. The Demons are ranked No. 2,185 in the nation, and have an overall record of 13-12.
Montrose currently leads 5A/4A Southwestern with a 20-4 record overall and a 9-1 mark during league play.
Grand Junction is in second place, 2.5 games behind with a 6-3 record in league play.
The Demons' pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing 12 hits and nine walks to lead the league in both categories.
The league boasted five .400 hitters over the past week. The group was paced by Connor Dugan, who collected three hits in four at bats for a .750 average.
Casey Dunlap hit three home runs this week.
