It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Red Bud Musketeers can now relate to. They took a 55-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles on Saturday. Red Bud has been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.
When it comes to explaining why Red Bud lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jeda Friess. Despite the final result, she scored 11 points along with two steals. Friess has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Addi Dilley, who scored nine points along with three steals.
Red Bud's defeat dropped their record down to 22-9. As for Columbia, their victory bumped their record up to 15-13.
Red Bud does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Columbia also has no future games currently scheduled.
