The Orem Tigers are taking a road trip to take on the Provo Bulldogs at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Orem is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.2 runs per game this season.
It was a proper cat-fight when Orem challenged Sky View on Monday. The Tigers came out on top against the Bobcats by a score of 8-4. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Kiley Hoshnic spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on six hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Orem let Andlie Allen and Cheyanne Wells run wild. Allen went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double, while Wells scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Provo). They put the hurt on American Leadership Academy with a sharp 21-11 victory on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bulldogs needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.
Provo got a massive performance out of Tava'Esina Albert, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with four stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Those four stolen bases gave Albert a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Lily Rock, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances.
Provo always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .762. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
With the win, Provo broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-11. As for Orem, their record now sits at 12-8.
Provo's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Orem has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.4 hits per game. It's a different story for Provo, though, as they've been averaging 10.3 hits. Given Orem's sizable advantage in that area, the Bulldogs will need to find a way to close that gap.
Orem took their victory against Provo in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 16-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
