The Oxbridge Academy ThunderWolves had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 39-29 victory over Jupiter Christian on Friday. That's another feather in the cap for Oxbridge Academy, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Jupiter Christian's loss came despite strong showings from Emilia Edgar and Savannah Altman. Edgar scored 20 points, while Altman scored 4 points. Edgar scored a full 69% of Jupiter Christian's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Oxbridge Academy's victory bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Jupiter Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oxbridge Academy has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Calvary Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on December 4th. Jupiter Christian will take on Dreyfoos School of the Arts at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
