McDonogh (New Orleans, La.) was defeated by
Bonnabel (Kenner, La.), 19-0.
The Bruins were up 13-0 at the half after taking the lead on a touchdown catch by
Quran Gibbs in the second quarter.
Gibbs played well for Bonnabel in the victory. The sophomore running back ran for two touchdowns and caught one touchdown.
Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 47-0 win for BHS.
The win was a nice bounce back for the Kenner school, which lost to Aquinas last week, 38-10.
Bonnabel (3-1) goes up against Hahnville in a 5A District 8 game matchup next week, while McDonogh (0-4) locks horns with Lusher in a 3A District 10 game.
