Henry Academy added to the longest winning streak in SCISA 8-Man Region I (8 Man) this week by beating St. John's Christian Academy, 56-44. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
Faith Christian fell to Clarendon Hall 62-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Joseph Wilson was a passing and rushing force as Henry Academy defeated the Cavaliers.
Wilson was a force in the backfield as Mike McCoy's team beat St. John's Christian Academy.
Jonathan Hickman was the best receiver in the league this week as James Island Christian fell to Beaufort Academy. Hickman tallied 2 receptions for 31 yards. Daniel Ulmer helped James Island Christian's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 14 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, James Island Christian's Josh Black and Hickman have proven to be a lethal combination. Black has thrown for 977 yards this season, while Hickman has 23 catches for 680 yards. Reyn Robinson from Beaufort Academy leads the league in rushing with 2,477 yards.
The marquee game in SCISA 8-Man Region I (8 Man) this week will be the clash between Brock Vaigneur's team and the Patriots. Beaufort Academy enters the game ranked 14th in the state, while Henry Academy ranks ninth.
