Highlands Latin fell to the Red Hawks 45-41. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Highlands Latin in their matchups with the Red Hawks: they've now lost five in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Seneca to victory, but perhaps none more so than Justice Parks, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. Parks has been hot recently, having posted ten or more rebounds the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Janell Julue, who scored eight points.
Highlands Latin has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. As for Seneca, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.
Highlands Latin will head out on the road to challenge the Wildcats at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Seneca, they will be playing at home against the Mustangs at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
