The Desert Vista Thunder will play host again and welcome the Seton Catholic Sentinels, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
 Last Thursday, Desert Vista faced Dobson in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Desert Vista blew past Dobson 57-26 at home. The  contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached  40-11.
 It was another big night for  Shay Ijiwoye, who  scored 22 points along with two  steals. Another player making a difference was  Dylan Swindle, who  scored 11 points along with five  assists and three  steals.
 Meanwhile, Seton Catholic had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 35.8 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They took their  contest at home  with ease, bagging a  54-22 win over Sunrise Mountain.
 Desert Vista pushed their record up to 22-5 with that  victory, which was their tenth straight  at home. They've been dominating during the  contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 44.3 points. As for Seton Catholic, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 14 of their last 15 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record  this season.
 Desert Vista was dealt a bruising  63-30 loss at the hands of Seton Catholic in their previous matchup  back in November of 2016. That  game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Desert Vista was down  33-9.
