Hoehne extended the longest winning streak in A-8 South - Southern (8 Man) this week by beating Cripple Creek-Victor, 64-20. The victory was the seventh in a row for the Farmers.
Hoehne's dynamic duo of Sawyer Schafer and Derrick Cordova proved tough for the Pioneers to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Schafer threw for 136 yards and three touchdowns and Cordova had 92 yards receiving. Wyatt Schrepfer helped Hoehne's passing attack out by catching one ball for 40 yards.
Dakota Parker was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 25 carries, he ran for 107 yards as Fowler beat Cripple Creek-Victor. Teammate Jeremy Burke added to the ground attack by rushing for 54 yards.
The Farmers' Schafer and Cordova have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Schafer has thrown for 985 yards this season, while Cordova, a 6-foot-3 receiver, has 29 catches for 532 yards. Alan Peil from the Bobcats leads the league in rushing with 1318 yards.
