The Camelback Spartans had to endure an eight-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past Browne 47-22. Camelback's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Camelback had a senior duo take command as Mya Crump scored 24 points along with eight steals and five rebounds and Dana Cruz almost dropped a triple-double on ten points, 13 rebounds, and nine steals. That's the first time this season that Crump scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Jada Rosado, who scored four points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
Camelback's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-11. As for Browne, they bumped their record down to 0-15 with that loss, which was their 18th straight on the road.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing North the next time they take the court. Camelback will head out to face North at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Browne will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
