The Arbor View Aggies lost against the Spring Valley Grizzlies back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Arbor View took a 58-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Spring Valley. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Arbor View in their matchups with Spring Valley: they've now lost three in a row.
Arbor View's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Talyiah Mckinney, who scored 19 points along with five steals. Sanai Branch was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with three blocks and two steals.
Charolette Delisle continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Spring Valley, scoring 26 points along with six assists and six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Delisle has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jada Green, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Arbor View's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Spring Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 8-11.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Arbor View will challenge Bishop Gorman at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bishop Gorman will be looking to keep their seven-game home win streak alive. As for Spring Valley, they will head out on the road to take on Liberty at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
