Paraclete was the  21-7 winner over Cathedral when they last played one another  back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around.  Paraclete's  defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of  Eric Green, who gained 96 total yards and two touchdowns, and  Joseph Mesa, who threw for 249 yards and two touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes.
 Cathedral found their leader in underclassman  Jaden Jefferson, who threw for 341 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 14.8 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 49 yards. Those 341  passing yards set a new season-high mark for  Jefferson.  Quentin Hale did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 203 receiving yards.
 Paraclete's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Cathedral,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 6-1.
 Paraclete has already played their next matchup,  a  39-30  defeat against St. Francis on the 18th. As for Cathedral, they also  didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  42-10  win against St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy on the 18th.
