The Bishop Feehan Shamrocks will head out to face off against the Taunton Tigers at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Bishop Feehan 3.7, Taunton 1.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
On Thursday, Bishop Feehan needed a bit of extra time to put away Durfee. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Hilltoppers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Shamrocks have posted since May 10, 2024.

Jack Gasse tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over seven innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Bishop Feehan saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Webster, who went 3-for-4 with one RBI. Colin McEwan also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
Meanwhile, Taunton put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 5-1 victory over Xaverian Brothers.
Johnny Escobalez was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Escobalez was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
In other batting news, Taunton let Cam Dorr and Dylan Keenan run wild. Dorr went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI, while Keenan went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Joseph Benoit, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.
Bishop Feehan's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Taunton, their record now sits at 9-0.
