Paul VI had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Fort Mill Yellow Jackets. Considering the Panthers have won five contests by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Paul VI's win bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Fort Mill, they moved to 9-9 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
