Weedsport was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Bishop Ludden on Sunday. The Wolverines put the hurt on the Gaelic Knights with a sharp 18-2 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Wolverines considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

Weedsport is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Bishop Ludden, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Coincidentally, Weedsport and Bishop Ludden will both be playing Bishop Grimes the next time they take the field. The Gaelic Knights will host the Cobras at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, while the Wolverines will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
