Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Lewis County, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 71-54 loss to the Bulldogs on Saturday. While losing is never fun, Lewis County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 209th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 62nd).
West Carter has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season. As for Lewis County, their loss dropped their record down to 5-12.
