Paradise Valley Christian Prep suffered a tough 53-27 defeat at the hands of Arrowhead Christian Academy on Friday. Paradise Valley Christian Prep has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Arrowhead Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cristian DeLaCruz, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds. DeLaCruz is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Marcus Edwards, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds.
Paradise Valley Christian Prep's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Arrowhead Christian Academy, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Paradise Valley Christian Prep will be playing at home against Sonoran Science Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Arrowhead Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Our Lady of the Sun Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
