Tremont fought the good fight in their extra-innings  game against Tri-Valley  on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Vikings by a score of  6-5. The Turks' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
 Maddie Feagin spent all 8.1 innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned  (and one unearned) runs on seven hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in eight consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  Lilly Elston made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-3 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and one  double. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ivy Stuber, who  went 4-for-5 with two  runs and two  RBI.
Tremont's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Tri-Valley, their victory was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 11-2-1.
