On Friday Huntsville take on Berryville at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps state rankings project a close matchup.
Huntsville gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener last Friday. Everything went their way against Gentry as they made off with a 35-6 victory. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 21-0.
Meanwhile, Berryville had to kick off their season on the road, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 28-14.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 1-0. In their win, Huntsville relied heavily on senior Sean Mccone, who passed for 244 yards and 2 touchdowns; a key strategy for Berryville will lie in finding a way to minimize his impact.
