The win bumped Mount Vernon's record up to 2-0. The loss dropped Sedro-Woolley back to even at 1-1.
Mount Vernon will look to defend their home turf next week against Cascade at 7:00 PM. Sedro-Woolley are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Oak Harbor at 7:00 PM.
