Charleston Math & Science got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Zion King out in front who scored 16 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Michael Williams, who scored 13 points along with five steals and two blocks.
Meanwhile, Burke came tearing into Tuesday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They skirted past Military Magnet Academy 44-42. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Burke has posted yet this season.
Charleston Math & Science has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season. Burke's record is now 10-6.
