Vinnie Juarez made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Juarez was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring four runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all six of his plate appearances. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 2.2 runs per game.
In other pitching news, Austin Edelmon looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
Back at the plate, Jackson Denooy was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and four RBI. Malaki Dalpra was another key player, scoring three runs while going 3-for-5.
Eaton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .708. The last time their OBP was this high was back in May of 2024.
Meanwhile, Jefferson Academy started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Liberty Common. They lost 15-4 to the Eagles on Monday. That's two games in a row now that the Jaguars have lost by exactly 11 runs.
Eaton's victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.6 runs on average over those games. As for Jefferson Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
