While Franklin's win against Thrall wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Lions sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over the Tigers on Friday. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Franklin's victory bumped their record up to 13-1-1. As for Thrall, they dropped their record down to 4-8-1 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Franklin will be playing at home against Rogers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 7.3 runs per game this season. As for Thrall, they will venture away from home to face off against Caldwell at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
