 Even though they lost, Fremont  didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and  finished the game with eight  strikeouts. That's the most  strikeouts they've managed all season.
 Los Altos now  has a losing record at 5-6. As for Fremont, they have  fallen quite a ways from their 14-6 record last season and are now  at 2-5.
 Los Altos took their  win against Fremont  in their previous matchup  back in May of 2022 by a conclusive  12-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Los Altos since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
