After a string of three wins, Elko's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of Non Varsity Opponent by a score of 2-1. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Non Varsity Opponent apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2019.

Elko actually scored more points across those three sets (60-47), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 7-25, 25-22, 15-13.

Elko's loss dropped their record down to 7-4.

Elko wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Spanish Springs on the 23rd. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Como-Pickton on the 23rd.
