The Charles Henderson Trojans pushed their score all the way to 72 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Bullock County by a score of 75-72. Charles Henderson lost against Bullock County in their previous head to head back in January of 2017, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 67-33 score last time.
Trevone Palmer was his usual excellent self, dropping a triple-double on 23 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists for Bullock County. Palmer is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games he's played. Anthony Simpson was another key contributor, scoring 22 points.
Charles Henderson's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 5-4. As for Bullock County, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Charles Henderson will be home for the holidays to greet Bullock County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bullock County will take on Smiths Station at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
