Clawson came out on top against Port Huron on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run fifth inning. The Trojans blew past the Red Hawks 8-1. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won five matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Clawson has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for Port Huron, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clawson will head out to square off against Hazel Park at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Port Huron, they will venture away from home to challenge Lamphere at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Red Hawks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rams have averaged an impressive 7.3 runs per game this season.
