The Lake Highlands Wildcats can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. They never let Nimitz onto the board and left with a 5-0 win. That's another feather in the cap for Lake Highlands, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
They hit Nimitz with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Katelyn Hoppers (2),
Ashlyn Steele,
Kacy Corcoran, and
Dani Chaump.
Lake Highlands' victory bumped their record up to 7-3-2. As for Nimitz, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7-2.
Lake Highlands will head out on the road to take on Berkner at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Berkner's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Nimitz, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Richardson at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Richardson will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Nimitz surely won't give up without a fight.
