Adding to the longest winning streak in Colonial - Patriot this week, Paulsboro beat Audubon 31-0. The victory was the seventh in a row for the Red Raiders.
Woodbury led the league in scoring this week by notching 45 points on Overbrook.
Paulsboro's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. AJ GUGEL threw for 48 and 1 touchdown and STEVEN BAYLOR had 39 yards receiving. On the ground DE'SHAUN BURGESS contributed 158 yards. ALAN CHILDRESS helped Paulsboro's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 37 yards.
BURGESS was a passing and rushing force as Glenn Howard's team topped the Green Wave. BURGESS's favorite target this week was BAYLOR, who caught 3 passes for 39 yards.
BURGESS was the best running back in the league this week. In 10 carries, he ran for 158 yards as the Red Raiders beat Audubon. Teammate LEON RONE added to the ground attack by rushing for 40 yards.
Paulsboro's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Red Raiders feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. JIMMY SCHMIDT has thrown for 316 yards and 1 touchdown this season, while BAYLOR has 19 catches for 225 yards.
