The Sandhills/Thedford Knights took care of business in their home opener on Friday (and then some). They blew past Maxwell 46-25. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Sandhills/Thedford also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Sandhills/Thedford's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Maxwell, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sandhills/Thedford will take on Twin Loup at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Maxwell, they will be playing at home against Cozad at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Cozad focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Thursday.
