Oneida and McCreary Central are an even 3-3 against one another since March of 2016, but likely not for long. The Indians will be playing at home against the Raiders at 7:35 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Oneida's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Scott 10-0. The win continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Highlanders: they've now won eight in a row.

The team also got some help courtesy of Kaidance Lewallen, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.
McCreary Central never got on the board in their matchup on Tuesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Lynn Camp on Friday. They were the clear victors by an 18-5 margin over the Wildcats. Considering the Raiders' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
Kassie Garland was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off four hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with four RBI and one double.
In other batting news, McCreary Central got a massive performance out of Hayden Bryant, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three stolen bases, four runs, and one RBI. Those stolen bases marked the first that Bryant has snagged this season. Ray Upchurch was another key player, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.

McCreary Central's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Oneida hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .470. It's a different story for McCreary Central, though, as they've only averaged .229. Will they be able to contain Oneida's hitters?
