The biggest upset of the week belonged to Serrano, who defeated 95th ranked Oak Hills, 17-14. Geordan King ran for 98 yards during the win.
The Diamondbacks moved up to 165 from 208 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Mojave River. Serrano was able to move up by topping the Bulldogs 17-14.
DiAnggello Guillory was a passing and rushing force as Apple Valley bested Hesperia. Guillory's key target this week was Brandon Mapstead, who caught 3 passes for 56 yards.
Mapstead was the best wideout in the league this week as the Sun Devils topped the Scorpions. Mapstead racked up 3 receptions for 56 yards. Jacob Munoz helped Apple Valley's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 30 yards.
Hesperia's Austin Williams and Christopher Crummel led the league in both passing and receiving yards. Williams has thrown for 1,245 yards this season, while Crummel has 40 catches for 596 yards. Oak Hills' De Zhontaey flecher leads the league in rushing yards with 1,351.
A big matchup in Mojave River this week will be when Apple Valley takes on Robert Kistner's team. At the moment, Frank Pulice's team is in third, while the Bulldogs are in second.
Ray Maholchic's team extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Oak Hills, 17-14. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
