Wagner have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will challenge Redfield/Doland on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Wagner are limping into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.
Wagner came up short against McCook Central/Montrose two weeks ago, falling 8-21.
Meanwhile, Redfield/Doland have had to suffer through a 5-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on Sisseton with a sharp 22-0 win. Redfield/Doland were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Wagner didn't have too many spare points in their match with Redfield/Doland the last time the two teams met, but they still walked away with a 28-23 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wagner since the team won't have home-field advantage. Watch the game and check back on MaxPreps to see if the change in venue makes a difference.
