Sports & Medical Sciences Academy has not had much luck with Windsor Locks recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Windsor Locks was led to victory by Jasmine Hurdle and Maeve McGinnis. Hurdle scored 16 points along with five rebounds and three steals, while McGinnis dropped a double-double on 18 points and 19 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points McGinnis has scored all season.
Sports & Medical Sciences Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Windsor Locks, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-9.
Sports & Medical Sciences Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Canton at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Windsor Locks, they will head out on the road to face off against Somers at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Somers will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Windsor Locks surely won't give up without a fight.
