Marion will challenge Western Dubuque on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Marion will be hoping to continue their now four-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
Marion put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season last Friday. They took their contest against Wahlert by a conclusive 56-28 score. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Marion had established a 42-21 advantage.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 35 points the game before, Western Dubuque faltered in their match last Friday. They were given a punishing 0-35 loss at the hands of Xavier. Western Dubuque were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-28.
Marion's win lifted them to 4-3 while Western Dubuque's defeat dropped them down to 5-2. We'll find out if Marion can add another positive mark to their record or if Western Dubuque can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Marion's step.
